Body Parts Rain Down from Subway Tracks

BRONX, NEW YORK, JANUARY 20- Pedestrians walking along Jerome Avenue and East 183 Street came across a horrific scene as body parts rained down from the elevated train, after a man leaped to his death. 

 Police and paramedics were called to the East 183 Street station at 1:34 p.m. on January 17, for reports of a man under a train. Police say the unidentified 24-year-old male jumped in front of a northbound 4 train and died at the scene. 

Train service and traffic along Jerome Avenue was halted for nearly two hours as the victim was removed. Witnesses at the scene reported parts of the victim rained down on Jerome Avenue across the street from an EMS station.
